Fire Alarm Services
Since 2006 all commercial properties are required to, install, test, and maintain Fire alarm systems.
Spear can design and install fire alarm systems in accordance with BS5839 giving you peace of mind that the individuals in your business are safe and that your buildings and occupants are protected from the devastating effects of fire.

Routine testing and inspections are often a condition of insurance, and it is important to receive the correct advice and not fall into the trap of accepting the cheapest price.Spear carries out all testing in strict accordance with BS7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) and Guidance Note 3 which details the specific requirements. All reports are completed using NICEIC accredited software, enabling us to maintain cloud-based records and send certification electronically.
Spear can carry out thermal imaging and load monitoring surveys of electrical installations, distribution, and control equipment so that latent defects and excessive heat can be detected and rectified before leading to component failure, fire or damage. This process has proven to be an effective preventative maintenance tool, especially for high-demand commercial installations.
